I know she wasn’t gov in 2002. It looks like increases were made even before she was in office was my point, so she didn’t do anything special (in my opinion).

I tried the links and they have been changed (hmmm). I wrote factcheck.org to further investigate this. As a former special ed teacher, I want people to know the truth about her regardless.

Personally, I find the pitbull comparison appropriate. Pitbulls attack small children and turn on their owners.

She wasn’t in office in 2002. She has only been a Governor since last January 2007. There was a shift in some money from special education to the Alaska Teen Challenge. Alaska Teen Challenge, the boot camp for 13 years on up, went from 5.5 million to 6.1 million.

I need more clarification on the 62% cut/175% increase. Which is it and can it be fully defined? I want to see exactly where it has been increased or cut. Also take in account that budgets will increase each year regardless. I saw increases listed for fiscal 2002, so I can’t say that she has necessarily done anything great.

Augusto, you are incorrect.

Palin increased funding for a teen boot camp program called Alaska Teen Challenge. Juvenile delinquent teens (like Sarah’s teenager) should not be in the same class as the mentally retarded, autistic or disabled. She cut funding for pre-school and special ed services. Here you go:
