Strides of March

The Strides of March was awesome. The weather was sunny and clear and there were lots of striders (and a few rollers and creepers). I went over a bit before noon and hung out, taking pictures and socializing, until close to six. A couple of celebrities joined us — named Danny and Paul — but I think they may be from reality TV because I never heard of them. They were nice guys, though, and really good sports about all the picture-taking. Once again, smijer turned up (wow! two days in a row — people are going to start talking!), and I hope Chattanooga Cares raised a ton of money.

It’s going to be another busy week… my folks are coming into town at some point (I should probably find out when…), and I haven’t even started with the cleaning and laundry yet…

(btw, I was out on the Walnut Street Bridge this afternoon and had to dump the card on my camera and when I booted up my computer, it detected a Wi-Fi signal — on the middle of the bridge! Nice.)

Wish I could have been there, but was out of town. I hear the entire Coolidge Park area is a wi-fi hot spot. I know the Stone Cup coffee shop is and I go there often.

I’d heard that the park is a hotspot, but I never imagined that it would extend all the way up there! The network my computer found was “frazier,” for what it’s worth. Also, last week, I discovered that T-Bones (on the Southside) also has wi-fi. Maybe I’ll see you at the Stone Cup one of these days (I live near there)…

hmmm..the network I connect to at Stone Cup is “frazier”. It wouldn’t surprise me if you found the Stone Cup router. It’s mounted high on the wall and has nothing but glass to go thru to get outside. It looks like an expensive (ie. powerful) router also.
