Twenty-five years ago today, I married this guy. We were really just a couple of kids, with no idea of what we were getting ourselves into, but we’ve managed to survive the rough spots and thrive in the good times. It’s been a greater adventure than I’d ever imagined it would be and I’m eager to see what the next twenty-five will bring…

Well happy, happy anniversary to ya’ll.
Where was the picture taken? What does it say underneath Social Consciousness”? I am still wrestling with my new eyes.
Love the red volkswagon.
I will celebrate my 28th anniversary on July 25th. I always remember that we were married in 1981 because that was the year after Georgia won the National Championship in college football.
I missed that entire season for that woman. That is how smitten I was (and still am)
Wow, Happy Anniversary!!! so, 25 years ago today I was at a Grateful Dead concert. What was I thinking?, except that maybe I knew your union would hold up to time better than Jerry’s…And I’m so glad it has! You guys are a great couple. A couple of what?.. a couple of really cool people. Love ya both!! Have a great day!!
Happy silver anniversary to you both! He looks like quite the catch in that photo and considering he’s still in the picture (as it were) 25 years later, it’s safe to say that photos that old don’t lie.
Happy Anniversary!
Congratulations to you and “Ralph” and the wonderful product of your union!
Not to be too picky, but with the leap years, wouldn’t it be 9131 days?
According to Wolfram|Alpha, it was 9141 days ago — now, why would that be?
And thank-you everyone!
Buck, I can’t figure out who is luckier — you or that mysterious woman!
Ruthie, I’m glad you got to see the Dead (I wish I could have seen just ONE MORE SHOW!) — and since I didn’t make it to your wedding, we’re even!
Keera, he’s still quite the catch — he looks much the same, and still has the same ability to love the arts while simultaneously kicking up his heels!
Oh, and Buck — the photo was taken in Philadelphia, at the art museum, by an old friend.
Yeah, well, we of the year 1960 are pretty cool, y’know.
Congratulations. And I love the photo!
Why didn’t you make it to Ruthrock’s wedding, mom? Were you at a Steve Ray Vaughn concert or something?
Happy Anniversary to you both!
Oh, I’m late… but happy happy HAPPY anniversary!
Crazy to think where I was 25 years ago…
